LDV Rover - 12V Control Panel Overview

This article explains the main functions on the LDV Rover 12V control panel.

The 12V control panel is used to switch common living-area items on and off, including lights, fridge/cooktop power, hot water, water pump, toilet, TV, 12V outlets, and USB power.

Important Information

Only leave switches on when the item is being used. To help preserve the house battery, switch off lights, the water pump, TV, 12V outlets, and USB power when not required.

The water pump should be switched off when water is not being used.

Control panel switch functions

The panel includes switches for:

  1. Outside Light

Turns the external side door entry light on and off.

  2. Inside Lights

Powers the main internal living-area ,bathroom lights and 12V fans.

  3. Fridge / Cooktop

Powers the fridge and cooktop ignitor.

  4. Hot Water

Powers the hot water system ignitor.

  5. Water Pump / Toilet

  6. TV / 12 Volt / USB

Powers the TV, 12V socket, and USB outlets.

How to use the panel

  1. Locate the 12V control panel inside the vehicle.

  2. Press the switch for the item you want to use.

  3. Check that the relevant appliance, light, fan, or outlet turns on.

  4. When finished, press the switch again to turn that circuit off.

Important notes

The fridge and cooktop still require their own controls to be operated after the 12V panel switch is turned on.

The hot water system must be switched on at the 12V control panel and then operated using the hot water control dial.

The water pump must be on for water to flow from the tap, shower, and toilet flush.

Troubleshooting

Nothing turns on from the control panel

Check the house battery voltage and confirm the vehicle has battery power. Plug into 240V power if the battery is low. (We recommend this every second night)

The tap, shower, or toilet has no water

Check that the Water Pump / Toilet switch is turned on and that there is water in the fresh water tank.

The TV or USB outlets are not working

Check that the TV / 12 Volt / USB switch is turned on.

The hot water is not working

Check that the Hot Water switch is on, then check the hot water video
