The Toyota HiTop 12V control panel operates the vehicle’s living-area lights, water pump, and fridge.
Control panel functions
The four labelled switches control:
Stern Light – powers the external entry light circuit.
Cabin Lights – powers the internal cabin lights.
Fresh Water Pump – supplies water to the kitchen tap.
Fridge – supplies 12V power to the fridge and USB Ports.
Press the relevant switch to turn that circuit on or off. The indicator above the switch will change to show its current status.
Water pump
Turn the Water Pump switch on before using the kitchen tap. Switch the pump off when water is not being used to prevent
airlocks, leaks, or pump damage.
Fridge
Turn on the Fridge switch at the 12V control panel, then use the separate fridge control panel to switch the fridge on and adjust its cooling level.
Allow several hours for the fridge to cool properly.
Interior lights
The ceiling lights require the appropriate lighting switch on the control panel to be active. Individual round ceiling lights can then be turned on or off by pressing the centre of the light.
The exterior light is also operated through the labelled lighting controls.
Battery and charging outlets
Beside the control panel are:
A covered 12V accessory socket
Two USB charging ports
A digital house-battery voltage display
Use the voltage display to monitor the condition of the house battery. A falling voltage indicates that the battery requires charging. We recommend to do this every second night
