If an engine warning light appears on your Fiat Ducato, there are a few checks you can do to help identify the issue. This will assist our team in getting you back on the road quickly. Please take clear photos of everything you inspect. We have also attached a PDF guide and a tutorial video for your convenience
Step 1: Open the Bonnet
Open the passenger side door.
Locate the bonnet release lever on the side of the dashboard.
Give the lever a gentle pull.
Walk to the front of the vehicle and feel under the bonnet panel for the safety release lever (just above the Fiat logo).
Pull the lever to release the bonnet.
Lift the bonnet and secure it using the bonnet rod—unclip it and slot it into place on the bonnet lid.
Step 2: Check Coolant Level
Locate the coolant reservoir on the left side of the engine bay.
It’s a clear container filled with red or green liquid.
Make sure the coolant level is between the MIN and MAX lines.
Step 3: Inspect Engine Hoses
Visually check hoses for loose connections or visible damage.
Carefully wiggle each hose side to side to ensure it’s secure.
Important: Only do this when the engine is cool—do not touch hot hoses.
Step 4: Check Vehicle Info from the Dashboard
Sit inside the vehicle and use the arrow buttons on the steering wheel to navigate the dash screen.
Scroll left or right to access the “Vehicle Info” submenu.
Use the up and down arrows to view:
Oil Temperature
Oil Level
Oil Life
AdBlue Level
Take a clear photo of each screen.
