What You’ll Need
We recommend using strong, weather-resistant tape such as:
- Cloth tape, duct tape, or gaffer tape
- Example: Norton Bear 50mm x 25m White Cloth Tape – Bunnings
These tapes offer superior grip and water resistance. Please keep the purchase receipt — we’ll reimburse you upon return.
How to Apply the Temporary Seal
1. Clean the Area
- Wipe down the exterior around the leaking window where it meets the body of the vehicle.
- Make sure the surface is dry and free of dust or debris.
2. Apply the Tape Securely
- Place tape around all edges of the leaking window — especially the top and sides.
- Press firmly along the full length of each strip to ensure an airtight, watertight seal.
- Overlap strips slightly for extra durability.
3. Protect the Interior (Optional)
- Place a towel or absorbent cloth on the inside window sill in case any water still gets through.
Tape Reimbursement
If you purchase tape to complete the repair:
- Retain the receipt
- Present it to the team when returning your vehicle
- We’ll issue a refund within 14 business days
