How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning

If a tyre pressure alert appears on your dashboard, it means the vehicle has detected a tyre that is below the recommended pressure or the system needs to be recalibrated. Follow these steps to check, inflate, and reset the warning.

Step 1: Check and Inflate All Tyres

Before resetting the warning:

  • Ensure all tyres are inflated to the correct pressure:
     80 PSI

You can do this at any service station with an air pump. Make sure all four tyres are checked—even if only one looks low.

Step 2: Watch the Reset Instructional Video

Once the tyres are correctly inflated, you'll need to reset the vehicle's tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The steps vary slightly by vehicle model, so please refer to our video guide:

Common Reset Instructions (as seen in the video)

While watching the video, follow along with these general instructions:

  1. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
  2. Navigate to the vehicle settings menu using the steering wheel or dashboard buttons.
  3. Find and select the "Tyre Pressure Reset" or "Calibrate TPMS" option.
  4. Confirm the reset and wait for the system to process the update.

Once successful, the tyre pressure symbol should disappear from the dash.
