Fiat Motorhome (S8-9) - How to Check Your Oil Level

This Guide explains how to check the engine oil level on the S8–9 models of the Fiat Motorhome S8–9 models using the digital dashboard display.

These models do not have a traditional engine oil dipstick.



Important

Do not add or top up any fluids without prior approval from the Cruisin’ On-Road Care team.

Before checking the oil:

  1. Park the vehicle on level ground.

  2. Switch the vehicle off for at least 2–5 minutes.

  3. Start the engine and allow it to idle for approximately 2 minutes.


How to check the oil level

  1. Use the arrow buttons on the left-hand side of the steering wheel to navigate through the dashboard menus.

  2. Scroll through the vehicle information screens.

  3. Continue using the up/down arrows past information such as:

  4. Coolant Temperature

  5. Service information

  6. Stop when the dashboard displays Oil level.

  7. Check the digital gauge between MIN and MAX.

  8. Take a clear photo of the oil-level screen

  9. Send the photo of the oil-level display to roadside@cruisinmotorhomes.com.au for further instructions

 

The oil level should display within the normal range between the MIN and MAX markings.


Important note – No dipstick

Fiat S8–9 vehicles use an electronic oil-level sensor. There is no conventional oil dipstick to remove and check manually.

If the oil level appears low

Do not add oil yourself unless instructed by Cruisin’ On-Road Care.
