This article explains how to convert the LDV Rover dining area into a bed.
The bed is made by lowering the dining table between the two bench seats and placing the cushions across the top to create a flat sleeping surface
Step 1: Clear the dining area
Remove any items from the table.
Make sure the bench seats and floor area are clear.
Step 2: Remove or lower the table
Hold the tabletop securely.
Release the table leg from its floor mount.
Remove the table support leg from under the tabletop.
Lower the tabletop down between the two bench seats.
Step 3: Position the tabletop
Place the tabletop across the lower support ledges between the bench seats.
Make sure the tabletop is sitting flat and level.
Check that it is fully supported on both sides before placing cushions on top.
Step 4: Arrange the cushions
Move the bench cushions into the centre.
Place the smaller cushion pieces into the remaining gaps.
Make sure all cushions sit flat and level.
Adjust the cushions so there are no large gaps between them.
Step 5: Check the bed setup
Before using the bed, check that:
The tabletop is secure underneath the cushions.
The cushions are sitting evenly.
The bed surface is flat and stable.
Packing the bed away
Remove the cushions from the centre section.
Lift the tabletop back up.
Refit the table support leg.
Secure the table leg back into the floor mount.
Return the cushions to the normal seating position.
