Mercedes Motorhome - NCE Smart TV Tuning & Troubleshooting Guide

This Article explains how to turn on, tune, and troubleshoot the NCE Smart TV fitted to the Mercedes motorhome.

Turning on the TV

1. Switch on the motorhome’s main 12V power.

2. Press the TV power button using the NCE remote.

3. From the Google TV home screen, select Live TV to view available channels.

If the TV is not working or tuning correctly

Check the following:

1. Confirm the TV’s 12V power plug is firmly connected and illuminated.

2. Check that the aerial cable is securely connected behind the TV.

3. Inspect the rooftop antenna and make sure it is upright, secure, and unobstructed.

4. Move the vehicle away from trees, buildings, or other objects that may block reception.

5. Retune the channels after moving to a new area.

Factory reset and retuning

If the TV still does not work correctly:

1. Open Settings.

2. Select System, then About.

3. Select Reset, followed by Factory reset.

4. Confirm the reset and allow the TV to restart.

5. Complete the Google TV setup prompts.

6. Open Live TV and begin Channel Installation.

7. Select Antenna and allow the automatic channel scan to finish.

8. Save the detected channels and return to Live TV.

Important note

Television reception varies between locations. If no channels are found after retuning, the vehicle may be in a poor reception area. The range can vary from vehicle to vehicle, Move to another location and scan again. A portable external antenna may also improve reception and can be purchase in the below link if required.
