For further assistance, please contact our team on 1300 016 532.
1. Accessing the Battery Area
Remove the Front Carpet
Begin by lifting and removing the carpet located at the front of the vehicle. This will expose the plastic access panel covering the battery compartment.
2. Removing the Plastic Panel
Turn the Plastic Screws Using Your Key
Use your vehicle key to turn the plastic screws located on the panel.
These screws secure the panel in place and must be rotated to release it.
Slide Out the Panel
Once the screws are loosened, slide the panel forward.
If it still feels tight, gently wiggle the screws as they may still be partially caught.
Remove the Final Fastener
There is one last fastener that can be turned by hand.
Unscrew this to fully release the panel and expose the battery compartment.
3. Disconnecting the Battery
Remove the Neutral (Negative) Terminal
With the battery now visible:
Press and hold the grey button on the connector attached to the neutral terminal.
While holding the button, pull the connector upward to disconnect it safely.
