How to Locate Jump Start Terminals on Your Fiat Ducato

Jump Start Terminal Locations for Fiat Ducato


Once you're ready, here’s how to locate and connect to your jump start terminals:


1. Locate the Positive Terminal

  1. Open the engine bay.

  2. On the lower right side, you'll see a black plastic flap.

  3. Insert your ignition key into the slot on the flap.

  4. Gently pull upwards and towards the right to open it.

  5. This reveals the positive terminal.

2. Locate the Negative Terminal

  1. Look along the upper rim of the engine bay.

  2. You’ll find a small metal stud—this is your negative terminal.

3. Attach the Jumper Leads in the Following Order

  1. Connect the red jumper lead to the positive terminal of the dead vehicle first then the donor vehicle.

  2. Connect the black jumper lead to the negative stud on the engine bay rim of the dead vehicle first then to the donor vehicle.


You're Now Ready to Jump Start

With both leads connected securely:

  1. You can now safely proceed with jump starting your vehicle.
