If your Dometic fridge is making a beeping noise while you're on hire, it may be related to the fridge door sensor. Here's what to check and how to fix it.
Step 1: Check the Fridge Door
Before taking further steps:
- Ensure the fridge door is completely closed and sealed.
- Gently push on all corners to confirm it is properly shut.
Sometimes a partially closed door is enough to trigger the sensor alarm, even if it looks shut.
Step 2: Disconnect the Fridge Door Sensor
If the door is confirmed closed but the fridge keeps beeping, the issue could be a faulty or misaligned door sensor. This can be resolved by disconnecting the sensor.
