How to Operate Your Cabin Air Conditioner (A/C)

If you're having trouble operating the cabin air conditioning system in your vehicle, follow the steps below to get it working properly. We’ve included guidance for both digital button-operated systems and traditional knob-style systems. You can also watch the video tutorials for a visual walk-through.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Power On the System

Press one of the fan speed arrows to activate the A/C panel.

  1. Use Auto Mode (Recommended)

Tap the AUTO button to allow the system to regulate cabin temperature automatically based on your setting.

  1. Adjust the Temperature
    • Tap the blue arrow to cool the air.
    • Tap the red arrow to warm it up.
  2. Maximise Cooling

Select MAX A/C to quickly lower the temperature to the coldest setting.

  1. Confirm A/C is On

Check that the A/C button is illuminated. This means the system is actively cooling.

  1. Turn Off the System

Press the OFF button to shut down the unit completely.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Turn the System On

Rotate the fan speed knob to any position above 0.

Note: The A/C won’t function if the fan is set to 0.

  1. Activate Cold Air

Press the snowflake (A/C) button and ensure the indicator light is on. This means cooling is active.

  1. Adjust the Temperature
    • Turn the temperature knob left for cooler air.
    • Turn it right for warmer air.
  2. Choose Air Source

Use the corresponding knob to toggle between:

    • Fresh air from outside
    • Recirculated air from inside the cabin
  1. Select Air Direction

Adjust the airflow direction using the vent dial:

    • Face-level vents
    • Foot-level vents
    • Windscreen/demister
